Dear School,

I have been going to school for what seems like forever. And I am super grateful for the opportunity I have to do so. However, sometimes you get to be too much. Your teachers seem to think that silly busy work will help me become a better teacher myself. Well, I don't believe in this. Maybe one day I will appreciate what they are doing. But as of right now, not a fan.

It would be like really cool if you could clean yourself this time. I'm not asking for much, the dishes just need to be done, the floor vacuumed, my clothes put away and the bathroom cleaned. Its not that big of a deal, so just do this nice thing this one time. Thank you.

I find you to be the most worldly and stupid thing that unfortunately makes the world go round. Whatever happened to LOVE making the world go round?! You know, the times when you would go to the store for some potatoes and the guy selling them would say, "I'll give you a sack of potatoes for a smile and a promise that you will do a service to someone today". I never lived in those times, I'm not sure those times ever existed, but we should jump on that. OR if that is asking too much, I would like to somehow be part of winning the Mega Million lottery without actually buying a ticket...

I think you are one of my favorite people in the world. You make me laugh. ALL.THE.TIME. I am super glad we got to hang out this week. I enjoyed listening to Zac Brown Band, going to Red Robbin for lunch(yumm), going to Bahama Bucks and in general just talking with you.

You really drive me crazy sometimes and have brought out some very bipolar behaviors in me, but never-the-less I think you are so freakin adorable and I love that little face of yours, especially when its sleeping on my chest cuddling. I also really haven't thanked you enough for FINALLY getting the hang of the whole potty training thing. Its great!

Now I'm knee deep in the water somewhere..

Sometimes all it takes to get me back to my happy place is a relaxing few days doing nothing. So this spring break I took off to pinetop and stayed with my grandparents for a few days. Where you might say this is a lame spring break, I say it is exactly what I needed. I didnt have anything to worry about. I READ. FOR FUN! A great book actually called "The Lucky One". Total romantic, adorable kinda book. Nicholas Sparks sure knows how to get his demographic(young single women who desperately hope their future husbands will be as good as the men in the books) to read till they finish his books. And then I started reading "The Help". It is really good too! Just havent finished it yet! I brought Sadie up with me. We had a good time front porch sittin and walking in the wonderful weather! She did NOT get along with my grandparents cats however! But we still had fun :) 

The day from and hell... AND the day after :)

Ok sorry to those of you who read my blog and see the title and think "WOAH Staci, that is NOT a nice word!" because you know what? That word is just how yesterday felt!! Im sure you all know I was in a car accident. But let me tell you the beginning of my day. So I work in an elementary school M/W and I leave my apt at 7:30am. Well the night before I was uber sick and was up till about 3:30-4:00am(not.fun). So then my alarm didnt go off. I woke up at 7:45 when I normally leave at 7:30...Fail. I went to the elementary school and got there 20 min late, wound up having to leave 1/2 hour early. I barely made it into my apt when I throw up(thankfully in the bathroom). I then have to go to math class and basically it took all I had to not leave because I was so nauseous. After math class my day was fairly ok and normal, aside from not feeling good. Well then I am on my way home and am stopped at a red light. I had been sitting at the light for awhile and then someone slammed into the back of my car.hard. I kinda panicked and decided that since my car could move I would pull into the gas station on the corner, assuming the car that hit me would follow. I WAS VERY WRONG. He sped away! so there I was with a broken ken, heart racing, body shaking and... no clue what to do. Ill spare you the rest of the boring details but basically I am MAD AT THAT GUY! I then decided I needed to end this day P R O N T O. PRONTO. so I went to bed.

NEXT DAY! Ok I decided I deserved a break. So I slept in and didnt go to class(oops.) But then I got to skype my BEST FRIEND MEGHAN! It was sooooooOOOOOOOooooOOOO good!! I basically started crying as soon as I heard her voice on the computer. I was THAT.EXCITED. It really just made my whole day better!!! Like for real. We talked for about an hour ish and it was just fabulous!!

Anywho. this week looks like this: bad day-1, good day-1. We will see how the rest of this week pans out!!

The other day I left for school pretty early and decided I did not want to wait 20 minutes for my class to start. So I chose to go and get a Jamba Juice. As I am walking out, I see a guy on the side of the street with a sign asking for money. Normally I would see him and walk by without even thinking about it.Today however was different. At first I walked past him but when I reached my car I had a very strong feeling that I needed to help this guy out. I mean, I know that people who are on the street asking for money typically are thought of as drunks and druggies, but if this guy was willing to sit on the side of the road, hold a sign, wear ragged clothes and ask for money(actually he didnt ask he sat with his head down) then I figured he obviously needed something happy in his day. I walked up to him and gave him five bucks. Such a small amount. But the guy looked up at me, smiled really big, and thanked me. I hate that there is no selfless good deed because I felt really good. I dont know his story, I dont need to. But if my five dollars could brighten his day even the smallest amount its worth it.

Basically, I am a cheesy person. I am like this girl: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUFT35S7Jb4.... yes, enjoy the "she doesn't even go here!" haha. But I feel that way sometimes!! I just wish everyone could be nice and loved and I wish everyone could GIVE nice and SHOW love.

I also wish my best friend Meghan was with me right now. I miss her so freakin much. ugh.

Even though I dont feel like I did a whole lot this 3 day weekend, I did have some pretty good moments! Friday I got off work early and Lee was off so he drove out here and we went to YC's which is delicious and its always a good time when Lee and I are together. We are SO FUNNY! Then we went to Gilbert and met up with the other half of our FamBam. We mostly talked politics(weird right?!) But there was ice cream involved which automatically equals a GOOD time! Saturday was a boring day in which I did homework and... not much else. BUT friday night I went to my wonderfully fabulous friend Morgan Rogers house! OH MY LANTA it was SOO good to catch up and talk about life with that girl. We laughed and had rootbeer floats(when was the last time you had one of those bad boys?? I suggest you jump on that cuz it was uber tasty!). Plus her family is just great too! Sunday was a regular ol' Sunday. And today I had the lovely opportunity to sleep in and relax all day. We took Sadie to the dog park and then for a small walk around this random mountain, we also worked on her training. WHICH SHE IS GETTING! Dang my dog is smart! Tonight I went to GCU to pick up my best friend Daron and he and I gave a speech at a Lions Club meeting. The meeting was ok, but mostly I just liked hanging out with him! We also went and visited his family and his puppies! I LOVE his dogs. SO.MUCH. I then came home to waste some time on facebook and play with MY puppy(who is just so darn cute). Speaking of my puppy I think she is finally starting to get the concept that if she rings the bell on our door, we take her outside! She did it like 5 times today!! Although they were all within like an hour and she mostly just was trickin me and didnt need to go potty.... But PROGRESS! Anywho, hope you all enjoyed your 3 day weekend! Sorry to those of you who attend ASU, the school who apparently doesnt think our presidents do enough to be celebrated. Dumb ASU :)

This blog post isnt gonna be about much. Here's the thing, my life seems at times like its so incredibly busy. But then days like today, when I finished my homework early, volunteered in the elementary school, went to class, faxed my time sheet and then came home and decided I am poor so I should just stay home all day... I realize my life isnt that busy. So whats a girl to do? Well she could play with her puppy:check. She could work on training her puppy:check. She could go grocery shopping with her roomie:check. OR she could watch Lost. OK! Yep thats what im doing. And for the most part I am not paying attention. I find my mind often wandering to far off places. Mostly the future. I am scared so incredibly so by the future. Why? Because its a mystery. Its the unknown. Its what will come of me.my family.friends. scary.stuff.

yep. thats all you get. I bet you are now irritated at me for wasting your time. Thinking you were in for a great blog post. But honestly, you sill people, I technically warned you with the title of this blog :)
