2011. Here, then GONE!

This was quite the eventful year for me! Well, ok... not really. Looking back I cant really think of much I did. But I obviously did something. I started the year off by moving into an apartment with two of the greatest roommates EVER! I have truly been blessed with such amazing roomies. Danny and Meghan accept my craziness and even join in! I continued a fabulous job doing respite for Macy Taylor Yetter whom I ADORE (and also Kate of course)! I went to school, still at MCC but this coming semester is my LAST ONE THERE (ok thats kinda a lie because this coming fall I will be taking 2 classes there, but also be at ASU). I worked another amazingly, wonderful summer at Camp Tatiyee!! I dyed my hair.. a couple times. I went to like 3 or 4 concerts, 2 of which were The Script! I volunteered in a 3rd grade classroom at Burk Elementary (the elementary school I went to). I bought a puppy! Her name is Sadie and she is CRAZY. I went to Vegas for the first time in my life. Along with all these things, I hung out with friends and family a lot and in general just had a wonderful year!! So here is to 2012! I am not expecting much to come of this year, one thing I am uber excited about is my cousin Hunter will return from his mission!! And I am just looking forward to all the wonderful surprises this year brings!

Cheers to a New Year's and another chance for us to get it right!

It's FREAKIN BEAN DIP!

Well, I have officially joined the blogging world. Yes, I fought it for quite some time. Yes, I gave in. I just figured I best add to my list of ways to procrastinate life. If you are expecting to be wowed by this blog, please feel free to end your reading now. If you are currently my friend and think that I am making a blog because I am about to start something uber cool (like go to Australia for a semester *cough Meghan cough*) you are wrong. I am mostly making a blog because I am a follower of society and am giving into peer pressure (aka my friends)... I am also a sucker for cool backgrounds. So I will say now, WELCOME TO MY BLOG. It will be the blog about nothing. And yet, you will keep reading every time there is a new post. Because that is how we get away with stalking people. I do it. You know you do it. I'm sure Oprah does it. But its OK, its acceptable nowadays.

I am sure you are wondering about the title of this blog post. I am going to tell you right off the bat, its probably only funny to two people in the world. Meghan and I. Sorry... But I shall explain. So we got invited to a party. Its kind of a big deal. Its Nepali party, hosted by Ajju, black tie event, new years eve bash, and a potluck. So, being the wonderful guests we are, Meghan and I decided it would be proper of us to bring a dish. And like so many you, the first place we go to get ideas is... PINTEREST! There we are, looking at all the amazing recipes this website has to offer and we come across this: http://pinterest.com/pin/20428053 3067269727/. Meghan and I thought these were so cute. Our conversation went something like this:
Meghan: Is that bean dip!?
Me: YA! That is such a good and cute idea!
Meghan: I know! I like it!
Me: We think the weirdest things are cute! ITS FREAKIN BEAN DIP!
Umm... just so you know, normal people dont typically think that bean dip is cute. We are anything but normal. But we seriously laughed about that conversation for a good solid 5 minutes (best.ab.workout.ever). Needless to say, we think we are hilarious and soon you will too. Also we are NOT bringing bean dip shots to the party. We are bringing cupcakes. I'll let ya know how it goes.

We are just about coming to the end of my first blog post. I honestly never in a million years thought it would be about bean dip shots... But life is full of surprises. For instant two weeks ago SURPRISE I bought a puppy. Or... yesterday SURPRISE I applied to ASU (well started my application, but decided to go there). My life most definitely keeps me on my toes. I love it though.

Hopefully soon enough I will learn how to add pictures and all that jazz to this amazing blog. Hopefully I at least will have 1 follower.... But until next post, I wish all my readers (all like 1, or 2 of you) the best of days!!
